“As past Psychiatrist-in-Chief of the McGill University Health Centre, I have been involved in coordinating and assisting development of regional resources for Mental Health and Addiction Services for our patient population for many years. A particular challenge has been provision of services for anglophone patients who struggle with the complex challenge of mental illness and substance use disorders.

Over the years, Dunham House has become an invaluable and unique resource to which we often turn for these individuals who need the specialized approached which Dunham House is able to offer. A mid- to long-stay residential treatment setting is something that has been particularly difficult to find, especially one which is able to offer evidence-based treatment approaches that have been shown to be effective. For patients whose clinical challenges are more complex, Dunham House is a reliable, effective, and accredited program.
